(old thread was archived) FiveRP is a heavy roleplay server for the multiplayer modification FiveM, built by an experienced team of roleplay veterans. Drawing inspiration from successful SA:MP, MTA and ARMA communities and comparable to LS:RP; we bring together the best aspects of tried and tested roleplay conventions, to deliver a rich and diverse experience to the GTA V world. Our approach to the server is that roleplay must come first and be nonrestrictive.

This means that you should actually be able to roleplay whatever you want and still feel included in the server both through the economy and the additional RPG functions themselves. Our servers are based out of Chicago USA which provides a middle ground for both interested European and Oceanic players alike to come together with the larger English speaking, North American playerbase. • Law enforcement agencies such as the LSPD and LSSD - fully run by the playerbase. • Criminal/illegal organizations with the potential to exclusively run the Gun and Drug trades among other things. • Attribute system to help mediate roleplay outcomes between players. If needed, compare stat values to help decide an outcome of * RP and create realistic yet enforced scenarios without the need for third party intervention. • A rewarding experience for roleplay as a legal business or corporation. Oh man you missed out, MTA is definitely better than SAMP i don't know why it never caught on. Its netcode is better, if you shoot someone, and it appears on your screen that you hit him, then you actually hit him, whereas in SAMP you have to shoot where the person's going to be.

You can have server-side mods, so when someone joins the server they all automatically download the mods and everyone has the same mods. Scripting is better, you can code way better systems. You can update the server without taking it down, like instantly add a new house somewhere while the server is up and 500+ people are playing and they'll all see it. MTA is infact the better client, I rarely played it however because the more popular servers where on SA:MP. They were only on SAMP because of the name 'SAMP' more people tend to google that instead of 'MTA'. But yes, MTA was superior to SAMP. I wouldn't compare FiveM to either clients however, it's completely different and imho FiveM is going to offer a lot more features than MTA or SAMP could ever.
