I agree the GUI is busy, but it's also pretty cool looking. And it doesn't take long to get your head around it, at which point the interface sorta becomes less busy. I've had the opportunity to use it for a while, and it's pretty stellar. I've been using it on two records which are getting close to done and I have it on vocals, and some Fiddle:) It's pretty rad really. It's in my 'using this pretty often' list. Full featured Demo. You only have to watch the video on it where Butch walks you through, and it's an absolute breeze to use. Sonically it makes quite a nice impact on a signal, especially vocals.

I've been thinking about trying it in parallel on bass, should add a bit of nice grit. Loving the interface.

All the Signature artists get to have input on how their plugins look, that's why the vary widely. It just happens that Butch is a bit of a steam punker and I really don't mind a bit. I also think it'll be a great plugin if you want to lo-fi anything. Actually I realised something I thought was quite interesting. Opening up the BVV for the first time a it wasn't that hard to navigate. It actually looks a more confusing until you use it in person and then it's super easy to get around on it. It falls under the mouse quite well and the controls have a good response with enough detail.
