TYPES OF EMPLOYMENT A. Initial Employment: All new employees are subject to a 90 day initial employment period. During this period, employees are not eligible for benefits except as required by law or as provided by a specific Employer policy or applicable plan document. Upon completion of this period, or any extension thereof, the employee may attain a regular employment classification. Full-Time: An employee who is regularly scheduled to work at least 37.5 hours per week is a regular full-time employee. Part-Time: An employee who is regularly scheduled to work fewer than 37.5 hours per week is a part-time employee. Regular: An employee hired to work on either a full-time or part-time basis for an unspecified period of time is a regular employee.
